The Founders Lifetime pack isn't just a one-time payment for premium features. It's an agreement. The five commitments below are written into the Founders CGU so they bind the publisher — not the marketing page, not a blog post, the actual contract you accept at purchase time.
If we ever break one, Founders are entitled to a full refund under EU consumer law, even years after the original transaction.
Rekko will never display advertising. Not banner ads, not interstitials, not "sponsored" recommendations injected into your circle feed, not affiliate links disguised as suggestions. The home feed, the Discover surface, the show fiches — none of them will be monetised by third-party brands.
This applies to every version of Rekko, on every platform we ship to, for the entire operational lifetime of the project.
Every feature that ships in v1.x, v2.x, and every subsequent major version is included in your Founders pack. New tabs, new circle types, new social mechanics, new TMDB-adjacent integrations — all bundled. If we add an "AI-powered recommender" or a "watch party" feature, you get it. No expansion packs, no paid skins, no premium-only tier above Founders.
The only thing this commitment doesn't cover: pass-through fees to third parties (e.g. a future tier that pays for someone else's API quota). If that ever happens, it'll be opt-in, it'll be transparently priced, and Founders will get a structural discount.
If Rekko ever shuts down — or just stops shipping updates for a year — every Founder gets a complete JSON export of every show they tracked, every rating they gave, every recommendation they sent or received, and every circle they were part of (with the consent of the other members).
The format is open, the schema is documented, and the export is self-contained: no proprietary IDs you can't resolve elsewhere. The export button already lives in Settings for any user — RGPD-mandated. The Founders commitment is the guarantee that it keeps working even if we stop running the app.
Every quarter, Founders members vote on 3 candidate features. The majority winner is committed to the next public release. The slate is curated from the in-app feedback queue + Founders proposals, and the vote is one-Founder-one-ballot.
We're not promising a perfect direct democracy — Apple platform constraints, App Store review, and the limits of a small team all still apply. But the spec, the schedule, and the result of every vote will be published publicly so the commitment is visible.
Every Founder gets an automatic TestFlight invite for every public release before it ships. No application, no waiting list, no quota. You'll see new features one or two weeks before the App Store sees them, with a direct channel to leave feedback that lands in front of the developer.
Your Founders status is tied to your Apple ID, not to a specific device. Reinstall the app, switch phones, lose your iPhone and restore from iCloud — your status follows. The internal slot is assigned at the moment of purchase and remains attached to your Apple receipt for the entire operational lifetime of the project.
Inside Rekko, Settings → tap the gold "Founder" row. The pact surfaces in browse mode every time you want to re-read it. Just after the Founders purchase lands, the same content shows up in celebration mode with a single Continue button.
