Rekko or Trakt: power tracking or private recommendations?
Trakt is a powerful tracking tool connected to a large community and a broad ecosystem. Rekko intentionally does less: it organises your journal and recommendations from people you choose inside private circles.

Trakt describes itself as a community of TV and movie lovers. Its official app highlights detailed tracking, trends, lists, comments, statistics and imports from several services.

Moving your watch history
Rekko does not yet provide Trakt sign-in or import. For someone with years of history, that is a real limitation. You can start using Rekko for new recommendations from your circle while keeping Trakt as an archive, but you should not expect an automatic migration today.
Privacy and social model
Trakt says it respects privacy and does not sell user data. Rekko differs mainly in architecture and social scope: the journal syncs through iCloud and interactions are limited to invited circles, with no public audience to build.
